You asked for Request for a Contact Person and List of Accredited Tissue Banks.
Response to Request
Your FOI request is approved.
This is in response to eFOI Requests #DOH-272286371590 about the list of accredited Tissue Banks and contact details of Sta. Lucia International Eye Bank of Manila (SLIEB).
Currently, we do not regulate nor issue accreditation for storage facilities for Bone Banking, Skin Banks, Vessel Banking and other related Tissue Handling Facilities.
However, for Health Facilities involved in the use of human stem cell & cell based or cellular therapies, they shall adhere with the Administrative Order No. 2013-0012 titled "Rules and Regulation Governing the Accreditation of Health Facilities Engaging in Human Stem Cell and Cell-based or Cellular Therapies in the Philippines".
