Dear Jeanvien Aclan,

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Sep 08, 2023 02:53:24 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your Request

You asked for List of proposed level 3 hospitals within luzon.

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved.
     - Through the Philippine Health Facility Development Plan (PHFDP) , the DOH has identified the gaps in availability and accessibility of hospital beds across all levels of care in the different region, provinces, and key cities in the country. However, it does not propose a list of hospitals to be built , and specific locations where these should be built. Establishment of National Government owned hospitals requires legislation, hence checking all the recently passed laws is a good way to acquire needed data. Establishment of Local Government Unit (LGU) owned hospital on the other hand, is proposed through a Sangguniang Bayan Resolution, which the DOH has no copies of.

As for the Private Sector, they are encourage to align their hospital projects according to the PHFDP, and can start their projects immediately after acquiring all the proper permits and licenses.

For clarification on this matter, please contact Health Facility Development Bureau (HFDB) at Tel. No. : (02) 8651-7800 Local 1401 or through email at hfdb@doh.gov.ph.

    Thank you.
