July 10, 2023 Dear Ryan Cuartero, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Jun 30, 2023 12:50:04 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for Studies surgical masks do not harbor any pathogens (virus, bacteria that may cause disease). Response to your request While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested. Please be advised that the CDRRHR has no information on the scientific studies, clinical trials, RCTs (Randomized Clinical Trials) on COVID-19 PPE’s that it doesn’t harbor any pathogens (virus, bacteria that may cause disease). Please advise make inquiries with the DOST or health care professionals such as Pulmonologists and health care centers that have done clinical investigations on Personal Protective Equipment/s.
