Good day! I would like to request for information regarding the following:
1. The number of reported Foodborne trematodiasis cases in the Philippines from 2010-2023;
2.The frequency of the disease, including the mortality and morbidity;
3. Top 10 most affected provinces in the country (with the number of cases each province reported;
4. The season when people get most affected;
5. Who frequently acquire the disease (e.g. age group, occupation, economic status, location, lifestyle).

Your FOI request is approved.
We regret to inform you that morbidity data is not available in the Field Health Services Information System (FHSIS). However, we are sending you the 2018-2020 mortality data from the public use file of Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA). In addition, we suggest that data for other years be requested to PSA, being the primary source of registered deaths. Thank you.
