Hi! I would like to request the following information, if available, for a Case Study on the Rules on Criminal Procedure:

1. Number of Cases dismissed Motu Proprio during Preliminary Investigation where no Subpoena was sent to the Respondent;

2. If Data for Question 1 exists, is there a breakdown of such dismissed cases covering each Local Government Unit in Region IV-A (Calabarzon)?

You requested for data on cases dismissed motu proprio during preliminary investigation for non-issuance of subpoena.


Response to Request

Per the Department’s National Prosecution Service-Docket Section, there were no motu proprio dismissal of cases during preliminary investigation where subpoena was not issued to the respondents. 


Your right to request a review.

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Hon. Menardo I.
