September 8, 2022 Dear Catherine, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Sep 07, 2022 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for Petition for nullity of marriage. Response to your request Thank you. Nullity of Marriages are civil in nature and are not under the jurisdiction of the DOJ. Courts which are under the Judicial branch of government have jurisdiction over your concern. It is best to coordinate with the Supreme Court (SC) at pio@sc.judiciary.gov.ph. For your information, the Department of Justice (DOJ) is under the Executive branch of government which handles the prosecution of criminal cases.
