Hi! I would like to request po about filed cases in the Supreme Court from 1990 to the present time. I am currently doing a research project on supreme court cases; and information from your office would be  a big help. Thank you very much in advance!

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Jul 05, 2022 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked for Case filings in the Supreme Court.

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested because the DOJ does not have jurisdiction over the Supreme Court (SC). The SC is under the Judicial branch of government while the DOJ is under the Executive branch which deals with the prosecution of cases. For more information, you can coordinate with the SC at pio@sc.judiciary.gov.ph.
