Hi there. I've received text messages threatening me of an ESTAFA case filed against me in Madaluyong Regional Trial Court, but there's no case number or any other details.

Thank you for your request dated Jul 12, 2023 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked for Has an ESTAFA case been filed against me.

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested because courts are not under the jurisdiction of the DOJ. Please be informed that the DOJ is under the Executive branch of government while courts is under the Judicial branch of government. Unfortunately, the FOI platform only covers the Executive branch of government because it is operational by a mere Executive Order.
