Thank you for your request dated Jun 16, 2023 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked for information about Republic Act 4112 :AN ACT TO AMEND CERTAIN SECTIONS OF REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED SEVEN HUNDRED AND EIGHT.

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested since this Republic Acts or the crafting of laws are not under the jurisdiction of the DOJ.

Please be informed that the DOJ is under the Executive branch of government which mainly handles the prosecution of criminal cases. On the other hand, the crafting of laws is under the main jurisdiction of the Legislative branch of government, on this case, this is a matter of the Senate of the Philippines.
