Dear Mark Patrick Cordovez,

Greetings!

This is to acknowledge receipt of your query through the FOI portal dated 26 December 2017, requesting for a TRO on Meralco’s Bill Deposit Program.

This Department, however, is constrained to deny your query pursuant to the Memorandum of the Executive Secretary dated 24 November 2017 on the Inventory of Exceptions to Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016).

Under item 9(d) thereof, requests for information involving lists, abstracts, or summaries of information are not covered by the freedom of information when such lists, abstracts, or summaries are not part of duties of the government office requested.

The requested TRO does not fall within the province of this office. Your request is more properly addressed to the appropriate issuing court/tribunal. Thank you.
