This is regarding the legality of the current practice of the Register of Deeds of treating a subdivision plan with nine sublots or less as simple plan and nor a subdivision project and does not require registration with the Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board.

This is embodied in DOJ  Opinion No. 83, Series of 1995 dated August 25, 1995.
