Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Feb 13, 2023 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your request

You asked for a certain Criminal Case and Status.

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested because RTCs such as RTC Malalos and MTC Plaridel are not under the jurisdiction of DOJ.

Please be informed that RTCs and other courts are under the Judicial branch of government. On the other hand, the DOJ is under the Executive branch of government which handles the prosecution of criminal cases.

It may be better to coordinate with the Supreme Court (SC) at pio@sc.judiciary.gov.ph.
