May 20, 2022 Dear Rommel, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated May 19, 2022 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for File Information and Certificate of Case Dismissal of Henry Roy Deo. Response to your request While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have [some of]* the information you have requested because courts are not under the jurisdiction of the DOJ. Courts such as the MTC are under the jurisdiction of the Judiciary which is overseen by the Supreme Court (SC). On the other hand, the DOJ is under the Executive branch of government which has jurisdiction over prosecutors nationwide. Unfortunately, the FOI platform only covers agencies under the Executive branch of government so we cannot forward your request to the Supreme Court (SC) using this platform. To assist you, you may e-mail the SC at pio@sc.judiciary.gov.ph. Thank you, FOI Receiving Officer
