Hi, 

I am an Filipino national currently studying Master of Science degree in Counter Fraud and Counter Corruption Studies at the University of Portsmouth in the United Kingdom. In partial fulfillment of my course, I am writing a thesis on the Bangladesh Bank Heist, and as part of my data analysis, I am humbly requesting for a copy of DOJ Resolution re: AMLC complaint against RCBC Branch Manager, Maia Deguito and PhilRem Executives, etc.

Dear Andrei Jo Dela Cruz,

This is to acknowledge receipt of the inquiry you sent through the eFOI portal, dated 30 May 2018, requesting for a copy of the DOJ resolution regarding AMLC complaint against Maia Deguito, PhilRem Executives, Etc.

However, the Department is constrained to deny your query pursuant to the Memorandum of the Executive Secretary dated 24 November 2017, relative to the Inventory of Exceptions to Executive Order No. 2 (S. 2016).

Under item 9 (f) of the said memorandum, requested information pertains to comments and disclosures on pending cases in judicial proceedings are deemed exempt from the right to access of information.

Hence, the requested resolution cannot be provided due to the pendency of the case before this Department.
