Thank you for your request dated Aug 08, 2023 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your request

You asked for certified true copies of a certain extra judicial settlement document.

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested since courts and clerk of courts are not under the jurisdiction of the DOJ. Please be informed that courts are under the Judicial branch of government while the DOJ is under the Executive branch of government mainly handling the prosecution of criminal cases.

It may be best to coordinate with the Supreme Court (SC) at pio@sc.judiciary.gov.ph since they are not on-board the FOI platform which only includes agencies under the Executive branch of government.
