Dear Requesting Party,

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Aug 27, 2023 03:43:48 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your request

You asked for information about cases decided in court for violating R.A. No. 9995.

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have [some of]* the information you have requested because courts are not under the jurisdiction of the DOJ. Please be informed that the DOJ is under the Executive Branch of Government while courts are under the Judicial Branch of Government.

It may be best to coordinate with the Supreme Court (SC) at pio@sc.judiciary.gov.ph. The FOI platform only covers agencies under the Executive Branch of Government since it is merely operational by virtue of an Executive Order.

Thank you
