Dear Requesting Party,

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Nov 07, 2023 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your request

You asked for information about the 2021 OMB Case against 15 Individuals on MMFF Piracy.

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested because the DOJ does not have jurisdiction over courts. Please be informed that the DOJ is under the Executive branch of government while courts are under the Judicial branch of government. Moreover, cases are confidential to the parties involved so this is an exception to the FOI.

Thank you,

FOI Receiving Officer
