Hi, this is Eric Joseph M. Avena from Obando Water District. May we request for the DOJ Ruling on the exception of WD on the payment of NWRB Annual Charge. This will be used as basis because currently we are still receiving statement of account from NWRB and requesting for the payment of it.

Your Request

You asked for DOJ ruling on March 29, 2012 re: Water Districts are exempted from payment of annual charges to NWRB.

Response to Request

After an exhaustive search of the Department's records, there was no Opinion dated 29 March 2012 regarding the exemption of water district to pay annual charges to the National Water Resources Board. However,  we are attaching Opinion No. 53, s. 2000 which applies to the National Power Corporation.
