January 30, 2024 Dear Requesting Party, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Jan 29, 2024 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for CRIM. CASE/S No/S 2021-016. Response to your request While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested because the DOJ does not have jurisdiction over arrest warrants. Please be informed that the DOJ is under the Executive branch government which mainly handles the prosecution of criminal cases. On the other hand, courts which have jurisdiction over arrest warrants, is under the Judicial branch of government. It may be best if you coordinate with the Supreme Court (SC) at pio@sc.judiciary.gov.ph. Unfortunately, we cannot forward your request to the SC since they are not on-board the FOI platform.
