Good day!

I am Lian Buan, senior reporter of Rappler. I am requesting, for the purposes of an article,  the status of the 52 cases of deaths of drug war suspects in police operations, which were investigated by the PNP-IAS, and later compiled by the Department of Justice. 

I would like to know particularly these two information about each case:
1. Status of service of the involved police officials: Dismissed, suspended, or active, etc.
2. Status of the investigation: With the NBI, under Preliminary Investigation, or filed in court, etc.

Your request was referred to two offices within the DOJ, the Evaluation and Statistics Division (ESD) and the NPS-Docket Section. (Formal response attached herewith)

The ESD advised us that they only have statistical data based from the 25 monitored offenses as reported in the Quarterly Report of Operations and the data you are seeking is not available. Meanwhile, the NPS-Docket Section is asking for more information from you regarding the details of the alleged 52 drug war cases. (Formal response attached)
