Dear Requesting Party,

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Jul 05, 2023 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your request

You asked for The number of lawyers practicing notary public in the Philippines from year 2000 onwards.

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested because the DOJ does not have jurisdiction over notary publics nor custody over all notarized documents.

It may be best to coordinate with the Supreme Court (SC).

Thank you,

FOI Receiving Officer
