Trafficking investigations –IACAT

Requested from DOJ by R. Rodriguez at 05:00 PM on Jan 29, 2019.

Rodriguez 05:00 PM, Jan 29, 2019

To Whom It May Concern:

I'm currently working on a media report regarding the reporting of sexual offences, and I was wondering if you could provide me with the following information:

In 2017, IACAT investigated 488 suspected trafficking cases – 65 of which ended in convictions. I would like to know how many of these trafficking cases involved non-Philippino citizens.

Many thanks,

Ruth Rodriguez
