Dear Requesting Party,

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Jan 06, 2024 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your request

You asked for information about a certain Warrant of Arrest Sent via email.

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested since the DOJ does not have jurisdiction over courts which issue Warrants of Arrest. Please be informed that it is the Supreme Court (SC) which has jurisdiction over our courts which is under the Judiciary. On the other hand, the DOJ is under the Executive branch of government which mainly deals with the prosecution of criminal cases. To assist you, you may coordinate with the Supreme Court (SC) at pio@sc.judiciary.gov.ph.

Meanwhile, please find the time to answer our short survey: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1dkxI8-mtBi-hCaKH7C2Yi-uasCdnHkSEfaUFE7LDIB8/edit

Thank you,
