Dear Lourdesita Casi,

Greetings!

Your request for a copy of this Department’s Bail Bond Guide for violation of Republic Act (RA) No. 9262, pursuant to the People’s Manual on Freedom of Information (FOI) of this Department, has been approved. Enclosed is a scanned copy of this Department’s Circular No. 13, s. 2018 which circularized said Bail Bond. 

Please note that your specific request falls under item no. 4 of said Circular, which provides for the general rule that "[f]or violations of special laws, bail shall be computed based on the maximum penalty imposable, the number of years in its maximum period multiplied by P6,000.00." The enumeration in the same item are the laws on which the phrase containing the exception to the general rule is applicable, where the multiplier is P10,000.00 instead of P6,000.00.
