I retired from the Bicol Medical Center effective May 17, 2020 and obtained a clearance from money, property and work-related accountabilities.  I received a copy of a letter dated June 22, 2020 from the hospital management ordering me to pay certain DENR penalties.  Am I still liable to pay when I am already retired from the government service on May 17, 2020 and was given a clearance from money, property and work-related by the Bicol Medical Center? Thank you.

Your request

You requested for clarification regarding payment of certain DENR penalties despite the clearance from money, property, and work-related accountabilities upon your retirement from the Bicol Medical Center.


Response to your request

Unfortunately, your request cannot be acted upon by this office due to the limited information provided. You may visit the DoJ Action Center for consultation and assistance. 


Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Hon. Menardo I.
