Good day, Im conducting an architecture thesis about a Marine Research Center integrating Ecotourism on Siargao Island. Regarding the data about Tourist Port Entry from Surigao City to Siargao Island, specifically the Number of Tourist Arrivals by Port of Entry and Demographics of Tourist Arrivals from the years 2018 to 2023. I understand the importance of transparency and responsibility when handling sensitive information, and I am committed to ensuring that this data is used for legitimate and valuable purposes.
The purpose of requesting this data is to conduct a comprehensive analysis of tourism demand. This analysis will serve as a basis for understanding trends and patterns in tourist arrivals at Surigao City and Siargao Island. The demand will help me to understand what would be the spaces that I will incorporate in my design to accommodate those demands and determine the sustainability and potential ROI of the project. By examining the historical data from 2018 to 2023, we aim to identify fluctuations, seasonal trends, and potential areas for tourism development.
