We refer to your letter dated 24 August 2022 10:41:29 AM regarding your request for tourist arrivals In Tagaytay, made under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Prior to the processing of your request, please ensure that your request is fully compliant with Sections 13.3.b and 13.4 of the Revised DOT FOI Manual by providing the following:

•Reasonable description of the information requested. In particular, it would be helpful to know the exact/specific information that you wish to request and its exact/specific covered period; - kindly specify the data being requested such as period of tourist arrivals (ex. 2019 to 2021) , and if you are requesting for the number of both foreign and domestic tourists. Also, kindly clarify the difference between the two - 1. Statistics about tourism in tagaytay, and 2. Annual arrival number of tourist in tagaytay?

•Specific reason for, or purpose of, the request for information. Please note that general averments such as “for research”, “for information”, “for legal purposes” or other similarly worded purpose shall NOT be considered to have met the requirements of specificity; - kindly provide specific details on what and how the data will be used i.e name of research/ thesis/ study you are conducting with brief background.
