Hi! I would like to request the information regarding

1. List of Hotels in Lipa City
2. Estimated guest of each hotels per month in 2023

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated July 07, 2023 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your request

You asked for The List of Hotels in Lipa City and Number of Guest of each Hotels.

Response to your request

While we aim to provide information whenever possible, in this instance, this Office will have to deny this request as it is similar to your other request with the reference number #DOT-544831614837 dated 16 June 2023 and partially successfully processed on 6 July 2023. We have stated in the previous request that the only available data on occupancy rates is until the first quarter of 2023 while the list of DOT-accredited hotels in Lipa City was also provided thru a link. Please take note that the agency has data only of accredited tourism enterprises and those not accredited can be directly inquired to the LGU. You may coordinate with the LGU concerned thru the provided email address for the other data as they have not submitted the same to our Regional Office IV-A at the time of your request.


Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with our response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review by writing a letter or email addressed to Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco of the Department of Tourism and sending it through the email address: foi_ro@tourism.gov.ph. Your review request should be made within 15 working days from the date when you received this reply and must provide the reason/s why you are not satisfied. We will complete the review and notify you of the result within 30 working days from the date when we receive your request for review.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
