You asked for the number of hotels that ceased its operation during the pandemic in Cebu City and Mandaue City.

Response to Request

Your FOI request was approved. 

Below are the number of DOT-accredited hotels in Cebu City and Mandaue City
that ceased operations from April 2020 to March 2021 due to the COVID19 pandemic, as provided by DOT Region VII:

1. Cebu City - 2
2. Mandaue City - 1
