Thank you for your response. For clarification, I would like to request for a report on the following:
1. number of tourist arrivals in the Philippines specified per province and if local or foreign (2020 - 2023) - requesting yearly data
2. for foreign tourists, please specify if from which country per province (2020 - 2023) - requesting yearly data
3. tourism revenue specified per province (2020 - 2023) - requesting yearly data
For the purpose of the request, I am a marketing support specialist of a real estate company. I'm currently crafting a marketing plan for our projects under Filinvest. Thus, I would need the data on our tourism industry since it is one of the country's economic drivers.
I'll be emailing a copy of my company ID.

You asked for Tourist Arrivals in the Philippines from 2020 - 2023.
Response to Request
Your FOI request is approved.
We have enclosed a copy of the report on the following:
1. Number of domestic and foreign tourists for 2023;
2. Number of foreign tourists, by nationality from 2020-2023; and
3. Total tourist receipts, by province from 2020-2023.

Please be informed that at this time, there is no collated data for the whole Philippines for 2023, as such we had to request the data from all the DOT Regional Offices.
Please note that we can only provide some of the information you have requested. The data that will be released to you is based on the availability and submissions of all DOT Regional Offices.
Since there is a limit to the size of the files that can be attached in the portal, a part of the files will be attached in this portal while the others will be sent through the email you have provided.
Your right to request a review
If you are unhappy with our response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review by writing a letter or email addressed to Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco of the Department of Tourism and sending it through the email address: foi_ro@tourism.gov.ph. Your review request should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this reply and must provide the reason/s why you are not satisfied. We will complete the review and notify you of the result within 30 working days from the date when we receive your request for review.
If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
