2. Number of Local Youth Tourist arrivals for Cebu City. (2021)
Specific reason: I am from the University of San Carlos, currently a 3rd year student taking up Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management. I am conducting a study entitled “Perception of Youth Tourists in Promoting Cultural Tourism in Cebu City.” In the data-gathering portion of my study, I need to conduct a survey among these youth tourists. That is why I need to determine the number of youth tourists visiting Cebu City so I could determine the sample size needed. This sample size will serve as my research respondents, the individuals that will answer my survey questionnaire. Rest assured that the data provided will be purely used for academic endeavors. I am attaching my student ID for your reference.

You asked for the number of domestic and foreign youth tourists in Cebu City for 2021.
Response to Request
Your FOI request is approved.
We have enclosed a copy of the report on Air Visitor Arrivals to Cebu by Country of Residence and Age Group for 2021.
We have also attached a copy of the report on Cebu tourist arrivals for 2021 from DOT Region 7. According to them, this is the only available data.
Please note that we are only able to provide some of the information you have requested for which was sourced from Arrival/Departure (A/D) Cards as this is the only available data from the DOT Central Office while there is no available data on tourist age in the DOT Region 7.
