We, Master in Business Administration students at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines College of Business - Graduate Studies, are currently conducting a research study entitled "Forecasting International Tourist Arrivals in the Philippines" and one of the independent variable to forecast the International Tourist Arrival is the Hotel Occupancy Rate. Thus, we would like to request for a copy of the Hotel Occupancy Rate (Annual) in the Philippines from 1990 to 2021.

Your Request
You asked for the Hotel Occupancy Rate in the Philippines from 1990 to 2021.
Response to Request
Your FOI request is approved.
We will send a copy of the available data per Region to your email.
Please note that we are only able to provide some of the information you have requested. Since your request dates back to the 1990s period, please be informed that almost all DOT Regional Offices have no more data that early to provide. As such, we can only provide the available data in each ROs based on their submission. Since the files are large, we will send them through the emails you have provided.
Your right to request a review
If you are unhappy with our response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review by writing a letter or email addressed to Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco of the Department of Tourism and sending it through the email address: foi_ro@tourism.gov.ph. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with the response and should be made within 15 working days from the date when you received this response. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 working days from the date when we receive your request for review.
If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
