Good day! I would like to request for information on the following economic indicators from Oriental Mindoro:

1. Total domestic tourist receipts in PhP
2. Total foreign tourist receipts in PhP

The period covered for my data request are 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022. I would also like to confirm that these are individual items/classifications and not their combined numbers for the four consecutive years mentioned.

You asked for data on estimated domestic and foreign tourist receipts in Oriental Mindoro from 2019-2022.

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance, this Office will have to deny this request as it is similar to your other request with the reference number #DOT-181947003372 dated 1 August 2023 which we have already answered on 16 September 2023. 

May we reiterate our reminder that the eFOI portal is made to process requests for information from regular citizens. Requests for official data from one government agency to another, where the data being requested will be used to execute its mandate are considered an official government transaction. As such, it should be made through official business between government agencies in the form of a letter or email, direct to the specific agency. This advice was provided by the FOI-PMO.
