Your Request

You asked for the following tourism data:
1. 2022 tourist arrivals to the Philippines by the purpose of visit;
2. The number of foreign and domestic tourists in Pampanga from 2010 to 2022; and
3. The number of foreign and domestic tourists in the Philippines from 2010 to 2022.

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved.

With reference to the tourist arrivals to the Philippines by the purpose of visit, please be informed that we only have available data for 2020 and 2021, as attached.

As for the number of foreign and domestic tourists in Pampanga from 2010 to 2022, you may find the data from 2010 to 2020 through this link: http://www.tourism.gov.ph/tourism_dem_sup_pub.aspx

We have enclosed a copy of the report for 2021, while for 2022, below is the data gathered from DOT Region 3: (As of 30 November 2022)
1. Domestic Tourists - 106,162
2. Foreign - 2

Lastly, as for the number of foreign and domestic tourists in the Philippines from 2010 to 2022, please be informed that we do not have available data for 2022 as of this time since annual data are gathered after the year has ended. The data from 2010 to 2020 can be found through the same link provided above while data for 2021 can be found through the same attached 2021 Regional Travelers Report.

Please note that we are only able to provide some of the information you have requested as these are the only available data.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with our response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review by writing a letter or email addressed to Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco of the Department of Tourism and sending it through the email address: foi_ro@tourism.gov.ph. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with the response and should be made within 15 working days from the date when you received this response. If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
