Hi. I am currently working on my paper entitled, “The Relationship Between Tourism and Poverty Incidence of Philippine’s Regional Economies”, for my school requirement.
Related to this, may I respectfully request the following data for the period 2015, 2018 and 2021*:
1. Air Visitor Arrivals by Port;
2. Hotel Occupancy Rate, by Province/City;
3. Average Length of Stay, by Province/City; and
4. Number of Accommodations and Rooms, by Province/City (not the list from https://beta.tourism.gov.ph/accreditations/#).
*data for all provinces/cities of the 17 regions

You asked for the following tourism data for 2015, 2018, and 2021:
1. Air Visitor Arrivals by Port;
2. Hotel Occupancy Rate, by Province/City;
3. Average Length of Stay, by Province/City; and
4. Number of Accommodations and Rooms, by Province/City.
Response to Request
Your FOI request is approved.
We have enclosed data gathered from all DOT Regional Offices. The first batch of files is the list/number of accommodation establishments for the above-mentioned period. Since there are a lot of files, we will send most of them in the email you have provided.
Please note that we are only able to provide some of the information you have requested as these are the only available data in the DOT Regional Offices. For data from Regions 8 and 10, we will send them to your email once it is available.
Your right to request a review
If you are unhappy with our response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review by writing a letter or email addressed to Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco of the Department of Tourism and sending it through the email address: foi_ro@tourism.gov.ph. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with the response and should be made within 15 working days from the date when you received this response. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 working days from the date when we receive your request for review.
