Your Request

You asked for the following tourism data on El Nido, Palawan from January 2022 to the present:

1.	Daily/Weekly/Monthly report on the number of domestic tourists; and
2.	Daily/Weekly/Monthly report on the number of foreign tourists.

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved. 

We have enclosed a copy of the report on the monthly number of foreign and domestic tourists in El Nido sourced from our Tourism Live Inventory and Statistics of Tourist Arrivals (TourLISTA) Web App encoded by accommodation establishment users.

Please note that we are only able to provide some of the information you have requested as daily and weekly reports are not available in DOT Region 4B.

For additional data, you may wish to directly coordinate with the Municipal Tourism Office of El Nido through their email: elnidotourism@hotmail.com.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with our response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review by writing a letter or email addressed to Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco of the Department of Tourism and send it through the email address: foi_ro@tourism.gov.ph. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with the response and should be made within 15 working days from the date when you received this response. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 working days from the date when we receive your request for review.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
