Your Request

You asked for the number of domestic tourists in the Philippines from 2017 to 2021.

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved. 

We have enclosed a copy of the report on 2017-2020 Regional Travelers and the 2021 Preliminary Report on Distribution of Regional Travelers in Accommodation Establishments as of 9 March 2022, relative to the information you requested.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with our response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review by writing a letter or email addressed to Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat of the Department of Tourism and send it through email address: foi_ro@tourism.gov.ph. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with the response, and should be made within 15 working days from the date when you received this response. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 working days from the date when we receive your request for review.
