Good evening! the data that we requested will be used in our feasibility study. We dont have a proper title at the moment but we would like the data for a presentation of our chosen airport. Our feasibility study is focused on improving the Bislig Community Airport as we see it a potential tourist spot on the eastern mindanao area because we can see that there are frequent flights being offered there. Our feasibility study seeks to upgrade the Bislig Community Airport to Principal (Class 1) Airport to cater a larger number of passenger and a larger type of aircraft, we are planning to include developmental upgrades to the airport such as Runway, Taxiway, Apron and Terminal upgrade for the airport. The data requested would be beneficial for us as it would prove that there are numerous flights going in and out of Bislig Community Airport which makes it as a potential new tourist destination in eastern mindanao and increase businesses in the area. You asked for the following tourism data on Bislig City, Surigao del Sur from 2016-2021:

1.	Number of domestic and foreign tourists;
2.	Total number of flights at Bislig Airport, by month;

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved. 

We have enclosed a copy of the report relative to the information you requested.

Please note that we are only able to provide some of the information you have requested as these are the only available data with DOT Region 13. As for the number of flights at Bislig Airport, they only have data from October 2019 to March 2020.
