Your Request
You asked for Number of people employed in the Tourism industry of El Nido, Palawan.
Response to Request
Your FOI request is approved. Based on DOT Region IV-B's records, the estimated tourist receipt is P3,273,102,000.00 with the average
daily expenditure at P3,260.00 for domestic travelers while P4,629.00 for foreign
visitors per day. The said data was sourced from the result of the 2019 survey
conducted by DOT Region IV-B.
As for the data on the number of people employed in the tourism industry of El Nido, Palawan, you may coordinate with the Provincial Government of Palawan thru their website at http://www.palawan.gov.ph/.
Also, you may coordinate with the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) thru their website at http://psa.gov.ph/ for the data on the population in El Nido, Palawan.
