Hi, I would like to request the following data:
1. What is the average percentage of the total number of Domestic and Foreign tourists that arrived in the Philippines from 2017 to 2021 for the purpose of MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions)?

You asked for the percentage of tourists who visited the Philippines for MICE from 2017 to 2021.
Response to Request
Your FOI request is approved.
We have enclosed a copy of the Profile of Visitors by Purpose of Visit from Selected Markets from 2017 – 2019.
Please note that we are only able to provide some of the information you have requested. Due to the pandemic, the SEAIMD was not able to conduct the Visitor Sample Survey. Thus, there is no available data for 2020 and 2021.
Your right to request a review
If you are unhappy with our response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review by writing a letter or email addressed to Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco of the Department of Tourism and sending it through the email address: foi_ro@tourism.gov.ph.
