Brief Background of the Study:
Urban areas are known for being diverse, encompassing a wide range of elements such as people, culinary experiences, transportation options, a fast-paced lifestyle, and striking skylines. However as the time goes by, cities have become increasingly congested, witnessing rapid urban development and worsen traffic conditions. With this, people in the cities are looking for alternative leisure destinations where they can spend their valuable time in a more relaxed environment while still enjoying the benefits associated with large cities.
The rising demand for mixed-use developments in the Philippines is fueled by rapid urbanization, population growth, and the need for convenient, integrated living and commercial spaces. Batangas' proximity to Metro Manila has emerged as a hub for tourism and commerce. The demand for residential and commercial property increases as a result of the ongoing economic growth. With the region’s increasing GDP, people are looking for residence options and employment prospects, particularly those looking for more inexpensive alternatives to the properties in Metro Manila.
Mixed-use development refers to a type of urban planning and real estate development that integrates a variety of functions within a single project or area. Instead of creating separate zones for residential, commercial, and industrial purposes, mixed-use developments blend these different functions in order to create vibrant and thriving communities.
