We, the undersigned, hereby request information on the following aspects of tourism in El Nido (2019 and 2022):
1. National and International Tourism (with a breakdown by nationality) in El Nido.
2. Installed Air Capacity: Number of Seats/Pair of Air Routes/ 3. Average Annual and Seasonal Ticket Prices for El Nido.
4. Seasonality (High, Medium, Low)
5. Current and Potential Demand Segments:
Socio-Demographics/Cycle of Life (Singles, Honeymooners, Families, Survivors, Friend Groups, etc.) of the tourists

Specific reason: Study of the tourism sector in El Nido for potential Spanish Investors who want to develop the north of Palawan.
I am doing a market study to understand better the area and try to bring investment and sustainable development to the Philippines.

Your FOI request is approved.
We have enclosed a copy of the report on tourist arrivals in El Nido from 2019 to 2022, by nationality, sourced from accommodation establishments.
As for the query on air capacity, kindly coordinate with the CAAP as it is under their jurisdiction at https://www.foi.gov.ph/requests?agency=CAAP.
Please note that we are only able to provide some of the information you have requested. For the other information, kindly coordinate with the Local Government of El Nido thru their Tourism Office at elnidotourism@hotmail.com.
