1. A record that contains the number of tourists that visited Calamba City ( Domestic and International) in the Years 2015-2021. Kindly put in table form according to the type of tourist destination and the number of tourists.

2. Income generated by each type of tourist destination: From the year 2015-2021

3. Income generated by Calamba City from tourism: From the year 2015-2021

Good day,

Thank you very much for your prompt response.

With regards to specifying the type purpose, I would be using the information as part of my requirement for one of my journalism courses. Part of our task is to acquire a dataset that requires us to experience requesting information from government offices. The objective of this exercise is to teach us the process of acquiring data that could be used to make news.

Since the tourism sector has been one of the sectors that have been significantly affected by COVID-19, I wanted to also acquire data about the tourism sector of Calamba City since it is my hometown.

We have enclosed a copy of the report on the data for 2021.

Please note that we are only able to provide some of the information you have requested. Upon coordination with DOT Region 4A, they do not have data on tourist receipts in Calamba City. You may wish to directly coordinate with the City Tourism Office of Calamba through the following contact details:
