I have seen a request from Bernadette Giron of DOT regarding hotel performances. I would also like to request this information from fiscal year 2018-2020. Would it be possible to have a monthly report of occupancy rating(occ%) and average daily rates(ADR)?

I would like to clarify the request made last January 18, 2021.
We are requesting for an actual monthly report(2018-2019) of the Occupancy Rating(occ%) and Average Daily Rates(ADR) on the following regions:
-Ilocos Region (Region I)
-NCR
-MiMaRoPa (Region IV-B)
-Western Visayas (Region VI)
-Central Visayas (Region VII)
-Davao Region (Region XI)

Your Request
You asked for Hotel performance reports.
Response to Request
Your FOI request was approved. We enclosed a copy of the available data from DOT Regions VII and XI.
Below are the data from DOT-NCR and DOT Region IV-B:
1. DOT-NCR
A) Monthly Occupancy Rate of Hotels in Metro Manila:
2018 - 65.41%
2019 - 70.04%
B) No data for the Average Daily Rate of hotels in Metro Manila since it is not part of the data required to be submitted to the Regional Office.
2. DOT Region IV-B
A) Average Occupancy Rate of Hotels in Palawan:
2018 - 45.74%
2019 - 52.98%
B) The average daily rate of hotels in the Province of Palawan from 2018 to 2019 ranges from Php1,500.00 to Php6,000.00 per room and per night for double sharing occupancy.
Likewise, please be informed that DOT Region VII has no data for the Average Daily Rate in the Province of Cebu. As for the Monthly Occupancy Rate that they have provided, it covers not only hotels but also other Accommodation Establishments.
