Thank you for your request dated August 10, 2022 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Green Globe Standards.

You asked for the criteria/requirements for Green Globe Standards for Hotels.

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have any information you have requested. Green Globe is an international organization based in Los Angeles, California that provide certification for the sustainable operations and management of travel and tourism companies and their related supplier businesses.
However, its membership and standards are not part of the DOT in any way or form. You may wish to contact their office directly at their website: https://www.greenglobe.com/contact-us.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with our response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review by writing a letter or email addressed to Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco of the Department of Tourism and send it through email address: foi_ro@tourism.gov.ph.
