Good day! I am Alyssa Marie Ranosa, a BS Architecture fifth year student from PUP-Manila. I am requesting for the following documents with an added brief description for my undergraduate thesis “Silang Agri-tourism Complex” that aims to boost the agriculture in the area, diversifying the income for farmers and attracting visitors as a sustainable approach. 

1. National Tourism Development Plan for 2023-2028. The data will be used to align the proposed development of agri-tourism complex to the goals and strategies of the National Tourism Development Plan 2023-2028

You asked for a copy of the National Tourism Development Plan (NTDP) 2023-2028.

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, the NTDP 2023-2028 is still being finalized as of this time. 

As such, we are constrained to deny your request under Section 6 (b) of Office of the President Memorandum Circular No. 89, which exempts from the right to access information such information that a premature disclosure would be likely to frustrate the implementation of a proposed official action.

Rest assured that the Plan will eventually be made available thru the DOT portal or website once finalized.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with our response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review by writing a letter or email addressed to Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco of the Department of Tourism and sending it through the email address: foi_ro@tourism.gov.ph. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with the response and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this response.
