Hi I would like to request the following information below. This is for our research/thesis purposes. Titled “Environmental Issues Impacting Businesses in El Nido, Palawan”
-Law or information about the 200 pesos environmental fee per person.
-Percentage of businesses registered in El Nido, Palawan from 2021 to 2023
-Tourists percentage in El Nido Palawan from 2021 to 2023

Hello,
Thank you for your response. We're sending a request to you for a specific data for our thesis. This is to help our case study titled "Environmental Issues Impacting Businesses in El Nido, Palawan" The data we are requesting will help us have a thorough investigation.
-Law or information about the 200 pesos environmental fee per person.
This will help us undertstand why 200 pesos is a mandatory per tourist upon arrival in El Nido, Palawan. We seek to understand how the collected funds are being allocated per sector in El Nido, Palawan.
-Percentage of businesses registered in El Nido, Palawan from 2021 to 2023.
We are requesting for a lists of resorts/hotels/restaurants that are legally registered or legal to operate such in El Nido. Our target respondents are business owners in the said location. This will help us understand what are the major environmental issues being encountered by their businesses.
-Tourists percentage in El Nido Palawan from 2021 to 2023
We need to have the tourist profile to help us understand if the number of tourists arriving in El Nido can be properly accommodated by the existing establishments/businesses.

We have enclosed a copy of the report on tourist percentages and lists of DOT-accredited tourism enterprises in El Nido, Palawan from 2021 to 2022. As for the list of DOT-accredited tourism enterprises for 2023, you may find the list through this link: https://beta.tourism.gov.ph/accreditations/#dot-accredited
Please note that we can only] provide some of the information you have requested as the actual environmental fee is under the jurisdiction of the DENR and the LGU.
Your right to request a review
