Hi! I'm Chris, an undergraduate architecture student from TIP Manila. I am currently undertaking a feasibility study on a proposed Philippine International Cruise Terminal. This study is a partial fulfillment of my degree Bachelor of Science in Architecture. As such, I am in need of the following data:

1. Updated National Cruise Tourism Development Strategy and Action Plan (2023 onwards)
2. Manila Cruise Port Masterplan and Feasibilty Study
3. National Tourism Development Plan (2023-2028)

Your request

You asked for a copy of the following documents:
1. National Tourism Development Plan (NTDP) 2023-2028
2. Manila Cruise Port Masterplan and Feasibility Study
3. National Cruise Tourism Development Strategy and Action Plan 2023-2028

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, the NTDP 2023-2028 is still in its stages of preparation for dissemination. Meanwhile, the latest document on cruise tourism is the National Cruise Tourism Development Strategy and Action Plan 2016-2022 and there have been no updates on the creation of the above-requested document. 

As such, we are constrained to deny your request under Section 6 (b) of Office of the President Memorandum Circular No. 89, which exempts from the right to access to information such information that a premature disclosure would be likely to frustrate the implementation of a proposed official action.

Rest assured that the NTDP will eventually be made available through the DOT portal or website once available for release.

As for the Manila Cruise Port Masterplan and Feasibility Study, kindly coordinate with PPA-Manila thru https://www.foi.gov.ph/requests?agency=PPA.

Your right to request a review
