I would like to request for the following information for the areas listed below:



1) 2018-2021 Historical hotel occupancy rates including the type of hotel if available:

2) 5-year forecast of the occupancy rates



Areas:

- Philippines (as a whole)

- Batangas (including Mataasnakahoy and Lipa City)
- Bohol
- Boracay
- Laguna (Caliraya)
- Palawan (including El Nido and San Vicente)
- Puerto Princesa
- Tagaytay
- Quezon

You asked for historical occupancy rates.

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance, this Office cannot process your request as it is similar to the one you have lodged last 18 April 2022. That particular request is currently on hold as we are awaiting for your reply/feedback to the clarifications made by our FOI Decision Maker.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to foi_ro@tourism.gov.ph. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
