Data on Cultural (eco)Tourism in the Philippines from the earliste year onwards specifically "Consumer Characteristics of Cultural (eco)tourism / Heritage Tourism Industry".
The data requested can be further broken down to cultural (eco)tourism sites in the philippines, preferences of consumers in terms of destination, types of cultural (eco)tourism, factors affecting their preference, statistics on the types of cultural (eco)tourism and related data. Thank you very much for your prompt response.
I have already sent my ID to foi_dm@tourism.gov.ph as requested.
With reagards to my request, the data will be used for the dissertation / research with a working general title: "Heritage Economic Valuation of the dynamic Cultural Landscapes in the Philippines", to be fulfilled for Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan. One of the aims is the policy simulation of a Conservation-Destination Management Fee through Heritage Economic Valuation.
For the period, I would to kindly request from 2003 to 2023 (or the latest). Within 20 years if possible.

1. List of cultural tourism sites in the Philippines;
2. Types of cultural tourism sites;
3. Number of visitors to cultural tourism sites; and
4. Factors leading people to visit Cultural Tourism Sites in the Philippines.
Response to your request
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested. Upon coordination with the concerned office, the data being requested is not yet available as of this time.
As such, we are constrained to deny your request under Section 6 (b) of Office of the President Memorandum Circular No. 89, which exempts from the right to access information such information that a premature disclosure would be likely to frustrate the implementation of a proposed official action.
